Thank you so much for a super stay. Weather was great. Lots of lovely walks and stunning scenery. House was just what we wanted, cosy and comfortable - loved the log burner.
What a lovely cottage - a real home from home! Absolutely perfect for visiting the Northumberland coast. Thank you!
I had a great stay at Oystercatcher Cottage in Seahouses. Rachel was a brilliant host and was always on hand for any issues or questions before and during the holiday that I had! The cottage was brilliant I really couldn’t complain about anything. Super comfy beds was a bonus ???? the only thing I will say is the parking available although right outside the property can be hit and miss if other guests staying in the other cottages have bigger cars but if that is an issue there is parking 2 minutes walk for free with a parking pass provided which is a great idea I will 100% be returning.

Our third stay in Oystercatcher. We had a brilliant week with family who had never visited Northumberland before. We bought kipper pate for breakfast from Swallows Fisheries in the Village, and had great meals in the Bamburgh Castle Inn and drinks in the beer garden at The Olde Ship Inn with it's new conservatory overlooking the Farnes. So we had to have a trip to the Farnes where we got up close to the Grey Seals thanks to Billy Shields boats trips. Walks along Bamburgh beach at sunset, a day in Edinburgh on the train from Berwick and paddle boarding again at Beadnell Bay followed by Lobster and fries on the beach, Perfect! Can't wait to come back again x

Have just spent a week in Oystercatcher Cottage. We have been staying in cottages throughout the UK for the last 50 years and can't recall staying in a nicer one. Seahouses is a busy little town with super harbour, lovely beaches, good pub and fine cliff walks.

Finally back for a return visit!! Nice freshen up of the kitchen, and lovely welcome bag and note. As we were here for 2 weeks we decided to venture inland as well - STUNNING, forest walks, Rothbury. Explored Alnwick more, fab lunch at Pig in Muck. Obviously hubby went for take out beer to Brewery co in Amble. Ate at both Italians very nice! Butchers shop etc still fab. Loved the North Beaches, Budle Bay and even got to North Berwick without needing a Covid test to get in! Cottage as comfortable as ever and starting to feel like home. Thank you
Delighted to have stayed here in this comfortable, well appointed cottage! An excellent base for our first holiday in Northumberland. We hope it will not be the last. Thank you
Great holiday cottage - well equipped and comfortable. Just what the doctor ordered after the challenges of the last year or so. Fabulous coastline and walks in every direction. Had a really nice meal at the Jolly Fisherman in Craster. Very quiet, peaceful and most relaxing. Thank you for having us :)
