A lovely homely and cosy cottage to spend our 35th wedding anniversary. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fabulous walks straight from the cottage! Thank you so much.

Had a wonderful stay at Tern Cottage, everything you need right on your doorstep, cottage was cosy and inviting as the weather was hit and miss when we visited it was lovely to come back to the woodburner in the evenings. Spent days on the beach (within walking distance) took a boat trip to the Farne Islands, went to Alnwick Castle and our favourite place to go Barter books in Alnwick! Rachel was always quick to respond to any questions we may have had... Would definitely visit again. Our son rated the overall holiday an absolute hit!!!

We loved our stay at Tern Cottage, my main concern was that the house would be warm during December and that the bed was comfy!! We can happily say that it ticks all the boxes. It was 1 degree outside for most of the day and we spent it out walking (slipping and sliding!!) on the moorland and came home to the lovely warm welcoming cottage. The log burner is a great addition and makes the room cosy. The bathroom gets nice and warm with the underfloor heating and a towel rail. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. The cottage was very clean and well presented. The bed was comfy and hard to leave in the morning but there is so much to explore in the area. We will definitely be back Thank you

Beautiful place! A comfortable and cosy cottage in a perfect location. Lovely welcome tray of tea/coffee/biscuits. Also, a few logs and kindling to start us off with the log burner. The double bed was so comfy! It made it very difficult to leave it each morning. Great location for walks, and short drives to local towns/villages. The cottage had a folder of things to see/do and places to visit/eat at in the area. I’d definitely recommend this beautiful cottage. Rachel was quick replying to emails and if I’d needed anything during our stay I felt happy to contact her.

We've stayed in Tern Cottage several times. It Is in a great location within seconds of the harbour. The cottage has recently been refurbished and the living room is much lighter and brighter now.

Have used this property before and were pleased to find it just as comfortable and cosy as before, with private parking right outside the cottage. The welcome pack included items for Alfie the dog as well as us - a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
