Held on the 3rd & 4th May at Rigg & Furrow, on a family farm situated right in the heart of the Northumberland countryside.

There will also be some exclusive bottle pours of rare beers and talks & tastings from the guest breweries over the course of the weekend.

But it’s not just beer: they have some of the best UK cider, a load of low intervention/natural wines, cocktails and coffee.

Oh and of course a load of delicious street food, entertainment and DJs. All taking place in at the beautiful event space, The End Hemmel.

VE Day 80th Anniversary Celebrations

Saturday 3 May 2025 | 10am – 4pm | Blyth Quayside

Blyth Town Council are excited to announce that the VE Day Quayside Festival will take place on Saturday 3 May 2025 at Blyth Quayside.

VE Day Quayside Festival, commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day will feature a variety of live musical performances, including those by The Community Voices Choir, Tall Ships Shanty Singers, Ashington and district Male voice Choir and Graeme Danby, who will feature a local solo artist from Blyth. The event will also showcase a range of food options and local businesses.

The Twangtown Paramours First UK Tour comes to Alnwick Playhouse

They are three time Kerrville finalists and and winners of Texas’s Wildflower Contest. Recently, other artists have started to record their songs. Lead singer, MaryBeth Zamer used to sing background vocals for Eva Cassidy. Writer, producer, and guitar player, Mike Lewis is the author of a #1 platinum selling hit in Korea and sometimes plays upright bass for Jimmie Dale Gilmore. The newest Twangtown Paramours album, which was released in January, 2025, came in at #1 on the Folk Alliance International Chart for that month, got more spins than any #1 monthly artist in over two years, and had six of the top ten songs. The last Twangtown Paramours album was #11 on the UK blues charts, and the last Folk album was #2 on the FAI Chart.
